With performance and value acting as our guides, we built the Superlight to offer a winning blend of nimble geometry, confidence inspiring handling, and elegantly simple yet effective suspension. Featuring hydroformed aluminum tubing, a new tapered headtube, and our highly evolved single pivot suspension, the Superlight has 100mm of travel and the same sophisticated pivot and bearing hardware as our flagship VPP® bikes. The combination of these elements results in a lively handling bike that slaps the price point competition silly.

What size fork should I use on the superlight?
100-120mm will work great, depending on what you want the bike to do. 100mm forks will give the bike quick handling and lower standover height. 120mm forks will make the bike more stable at speed and are better for slightly more aggressive riders. 120mm is the largest we recommend.
What size shock does the Superlight use?
7.875"x 2" (200x50mm)
Size small Superlights use a 6.5" x 1.5" (165x38mm) The shock mounting hardware for all frame sizes is 22mm wide with an 8mm through hole.
What size headset does the Superlight use?
1 1/8"
What size seatpost do I need?
The Superlight uses a 30.9mm seatpost. Make sure it is always inserted a minimum of 4" (100mm)
What size seat collar do I need for the Superlight?
34.9mm (supplied with frame)
What size front derailleur do I need?
A shimano 34.9 top swing/ top pull. Anything but saint should do the job.
What size BB do I need?
The superlight uses a 68mm bottom bracket shell, and a 50mm chainline. Pretty much any of the newer external bottom bracket cranks will mount up without issue. The Truvativ stylo and shimano Deore XT are our favorites. If you are using an ISIS setup, you need a 68x113mm bottom bracket.
What size tire will fit in the superlight?
Most 2.3." tires will fit in there, but that is about the max.
What size rotor can I use?
140-160mm.
