What size fork should I use on the superlight 29?

100-120mm will work great, depending on what you want the bike to do. 100mm forks will give the bike quick handling and lower standover height. 120mm forks will make the bike more stable at speed and are better for slightly more aggressive riders. 120mm is the largest we recommend.

What size shock does the Superlight 29 use?

Size Large and XL frames use 7.875”x 2” (200x50mm)
Size small and Medium frames use a 6.5” x 1.5” (165x38mm) The shock mounting hardware for all frame sizes is 22mm wide with an 8mm through hole.

What size headset does the Superlight 29 use?

The Superlight 29 uses a tapered headtube often called "mixed taper". This setup uses a standared 1.5" external lower cup (49mm bore) and an internal 1 1/8" upper cup (44mm bore). Almost all headset manufacturers make this product.

What size seatpost does it use?

The Superlight 29 uses a 30.9mm seatpost. Make sure it is always inserted a minimum of 4” (100mm)

Can I buy a quick release seat collar for my frame?

Absolutely. The frame takes a standard 34.9mm seat collar, so there are plenty of quick releases that will fit. Our favorite is ours, of course. You can purchase it on our online store for $24.

What size front derailleur do I need?

A 34.9 top swing/ top pull. Anything but saint should do the job.

What size BB do I need?

The Superlight 29 uses a standard 73mm threaded BB. Most any crank on the market comes in a version that will fit.

What size tire will fit in the superlight 29?

Most 2.3.” tires will fit in there, but that is about the max.

What size rotor will fit in the Superlight 29?

The Superlight 29 will fit a maximum 203mm rotor.
