The Lightest and Strongest Production Downhill Race Frame in the World:
With 64 World Cup podiums, 14 World Cup Wins and 3 World Championship Golds, the Santa Cruz V10 is so far ahead of the game it's in danger of requiring a biological passport.
Honed from years of refinement through brutal testing by the Santa Cruz Syndicate, the V10 is now identical to the bikes Minnaar, Peaty and Bryceland race.
Proprietary carbon molding techniques deliver a sub 7 lb frame that's nearly 2 lbs lighter than before, yet stronger than ever.
So much so, we've extended our warranty to 5 years, maintained the lifetime guarantee on bearings and still offer the crash replacement policy.

What size BB does the V10.5 use?
The V10 uses an 83mm threaded bottom bracket. Buy a crank with between 55 and 57.5mm chainline.
Which chainguides will fit on the V10?
The V10 uses the ISCG-05 standard, and most guides made for this will fit fine. We've had good luck with E13, MRP and Gamut.
What rear hub do I need for the V10?
The V10.5 uses a 157x12 rear hub for easier wheel alignment and installation. Most existing 150x12 hubs can be converted to this new standard.
What size seatpost do I need?
The V10 uses a 30.9mm seatpost. Make sure it is always inserted a minimum of 4” (100mm).
I received a clear plastic protector with my frame- what is this for?
The clear plastic protector fits on the downtube above the rubber rock protector. If you shuttle your bike using the “tailgate” method, then this protector will protect your paint from an abrasive pad.
I received a package of "friction paste" with my frame- what is that for?
Put the friction paste on your seat post before installing it. This will help keep your post in place without excessive seat collar tightening.
What size shock does the V10 use?
The V10 uses a 9.5x3” shock (240x76mm). The hardware is 22x8mm on both ends.
Can I use an Angleset with the V10?
Yes, while we don't supply frames with the Angleset anymore, it is fully compatible. The correct model is the ZS49/ZS49.
What size headset do I need?
The V10 uses a standard 1.5" headtube (inner diameter 49mm top and bottom). The geometry of the bike is designed around a zero stack headset, but you can use an external cup if you wish.
My bike came with multiple rubber protectors in the box, what are these for?
We provide a full compliment of swingarm protectors for riders in rocky terrain. They will protect the swingarm in a crash.
